Rich Tuma IFBB Pro
Rich Tuma has been involved in health and fitness since the age of 13 and has become one of the most diversely trained fitness/wellness professionals in the World. He is a certified personal trainer and Fitness Nutritionist for last 25 years and has more than 10 fitness certifications. Rich is also a nationally certified massage therapist (NCBTMB) with over 20 years experience with over 10 massage certifications. Rich is a first degree black belt in tae kwon do, and has studied Jeet kune do, Muay Thai, Aikido, and tae chi.
He was the owner of Elite Fitness Center from 1996 to 2010 and currently trains people at his RTN studio in Milltown and Clark NJ area. In 2012 Rich created Fitness Fusion video series workout system combining different styles of martial arts, plyometrics, and sports conditioning to give you overall conditioning workout to Improve endurance, shred fat, and increase strength, balance and flexibility. Rich was one of the Judges on season 1 TV series Fit or Flop. |

Rich Tuma has also been a Fitness and physique competitor for over 25 years. In fact Rich competed in the first ever Mr. Fitness contest in 1992 Atlanta GA, which involved 3 rounds swimwear, formal wear and talent rounds. Rich came in 5th out of 21 guys in the first show at age 19 and placed in top 10 three times in next 4 years. In 2004 Rich came back from 8 year layoff to win the WNBF Mr Fitness contest. In 2012/13 Rich competed in his first NPC Men’s Physique contests and placed high enough to compete at Team U and Nationals for a chance to Earn IFBB Pro card. On July 19, 2013 Rich won Class B to earn IFBB Pro card and the Overall title of show at the Pittsburgh Masters Nationals. The dream was for the IFBB to someday to offer a IFBB pro card for men’s physique and when the opportunity was there Rich moved towards achieving his dream. Rich will be competing for the long haul and plans to compete in several IFBB shows in the future. Rich looks at competition as an incentive to get in best shape possible. The goal is to keep getting better each year making self improvements both physically and mentally. Rich has also written for several magazine's over the years and has his own column in Fitness Trainer Magazine.
